Our library faculty and graduate teaching assistants will interact with you during your Composition I and II coursework. Our goal is to not only provide some guidance as you complete assignments like the concept and argument papers; we also want to enable and encourage you to be critical and reflective consumers of information, whether in the academic classroom, the professional workplace, or your everyday life as a responsible member of society.
For many of you, this may be the first time you've interacted with librarians or even visited the library. We want it to be the beginning of a long and productive collaboration between you and the library, so please remember to visit often, ask questions, and let us know how to best serve the students of Emporia State University. To access instruction materials for composition classes, hover your cursor over the "Composition Instruction" tab above and select the appropriate assignment from the drop-down menu. |
